Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • To undertake and supervise the maintenance, inspection, servicing, repair, replacement, modification, rectification and certification of aircraft in accordance with STSB MOE for on time serviceability of aircraft
  • To perform and certify the maintenance activity in accordance with specified function as per STSB Quality system
  • To ensure Licensed Aircraft Technician (LAT) assigned to him are briefed on specific task allocated to them, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • To brief the Head of Operations and Engineering and Lead Engineer operation on the Maintenance activity status and provide feedback on major findings and defects from the maintenance work carried out on the aircraft.
  • To carry out all planned and additional activities within specific targets, standards and to ensure that the activities are properly documented.
  • To ensure availability of safety equipment, observe safety measures and keep workplace clean and clear from FOD whilst working on the aircraft
  • To ensure compliances to operating policies, procedures and instructions as and when issued from time to time.
  • To issue maintenance release upon completion of Line Maintenance work.
  • To provide manual reference (AMM, SRM, IPC, etc.) to Supply Chain and Engineering & Planning Department upon request.
  • To monitor shift handover and to hand over properly any incomplete and pending task to the next shift with details in absent of LEO
  • To carry out other tasks as directed by the Head of Operations and Engineering.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Holder of aircraft maintenance license acceptable to CAA Malaysia (Category B1 or B2)
  • Minimum 3 years signing in base maintenance environment
