Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implementing a quality audit programme which in compliance with all maintenance procedures is reviewed at regular intervals in relation to each type or aircraft or component maintained, including the management and completion of audits and productions of audit reports.
  • Should ensure that any observed non-compliances or poor standards are brought to the attention of the person concerned via his/her manager.
  • A follow up and closure of any non-compliance;
  • Establishment of regular discussion / meeting with the Head of Quality Assurance in regards to the effectiveness of the Quality System. This will include details of any reported discrepancy not adequately addressed by the relevant person or in respect of any disagreement concerning the nature of the discrepancy;
  • Monitoring the amendment of the organisation’s procedures and standard practices (MOE, including the associated procedure(s)) and their compliance with the current revision of Part-145 plus any other applicable regulatory requirement issued by CAAM;
  • Assessing providers of materials, standard parts, components and contracted organisations for satisfactory product quality in relation to the needs of the organisation;
  • Assessing subcontractors working under the quality system and maintaining the expertise necessary to be able to do so, to the satisfaction of CAAM;
  • Co-ordinating action on airworthiness occurrences and for initiating any necessary further investigation and follow up activity
  • Collecting feedback from maintenance incidents issues and feeding this back into the continuation training programme.
  • Assessing external specialist services required to be used by the STSB in the performance of maintenance
  • Processing and evaluation of maintenance personal approval of authorization applications for adequacy and correctness
  • To ensure that support / certifying staff and other approved staff meet the training requirements at all times for issuance of approval authorization.
  • To conduct aircraft related product audit and to carry it out in accordance with Sapura Technics Maintenance Organization Exposition
  • To conduct any other task as directed by the Superior

Qualification & Requirement

  • Holder of aircraft maintenance license acceptable to CAA Malaysia (AML Part-66) or EN4179
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in line maintenance environment
  • Experience in Quality Assurance within Aviation Industry will be an added advantage
